Offline Progress
Your current offline limit and the permanent milestones that increase it.
Total Level Rewards
Every account starts with 2 hours of offline progression. Total Level milestones and first Expedition completions add permanent increases to your current limit. These rewards are calculated from your current progression and do not need to be claimed.
Expedition First Completions
Completing each Expedition for the first time grants +15 minutes of maximum offline progression. The reward is based on your first recorded boss victory, so it can only be earned once per Expedition.
Guide
Reference guides for JourneyDen systems. Chapter I begins with The First Steps, then lets players continue through normal progression.
How Offline Progress Works
JourneyDen can keep progressing after you close the game, but only for the time allowed by your current Offline Progress limit.
What happens when you leave?
JourneyDen remembers what your character was doing. When you return, it calculates the time you were away and simulates up to your current offline limit. A new account starts with a 2-hour limit. As Offline Progress rewards unlock, the simulation uses your higher personal limit instead.
Skilling
If a normal skill activity was active, JourneyDen continues that activity during the allowed offline window. Actions, XP and item rewards are calculated using the same activity timing used while the game is open.
Combat & Expeditions
Active combat is simulated during the allowed offline window. Enemy attacks, your attacks, kills, loot, combat XP, food usage and automatic potion behavior are resolved during the simulation. Expedition runs can continue through their encounters while offline until the run ends, you are defeated, or the offline window is exhausted.
Farming
Crops only receive growth time inside the allowed offline window. If a crop does not finish growing before that window ends, the remaining time is frozen for the discarded part of your absence instead of silently bypassing the Offline Progress limit.
Your account and save
Google login is required to play. Your JourneyDen save belongs to your Supabase account UUID, and Supabase is the canonical source of truth. A previously authenticated account can use its last confirmed local cache during a temporary network outage; the canonical Supabase snapshot is rechecked before the account resumes normal cloud synchronization.
When you return
The welcome-back screen summarizes the offline rewards that were actually earned. If you were away longer than your current Offline Progress limit, it also shows that your progression time was capped.
Every account starts at 2 hours. Total Level milestones at 50, 125, 250, 450, 700 and 1000 each add 30 minutes. The first completion of every Expedition adds another 15 minutes. These bonuses are automatic and are calculated from your saved progression.
Potions
Grow herbs through Farming, collect any extra ingredients from Combat or Expeditions, then brew the potion from the Apothecary activity list.
How to make potions
Reach the required Apothecary level and keep every listed ingredient in your Storage. Starting the recipe automatically consumes the ingredients and adds the finished potion to your Storage when the brew completes.
Drink a potion directly or assign it to a compatible Potion Preset. The Equipment tab uses the same preset and Storage quantities, so your choices stay synchronized.
Expedition Log
Track your journeys and explore the unknown.
Combat
